At Cheervanuppalapadu, 178 farmers attended the programme led by NIRCA KVK, Kandukur with NABARD, FPOs&Union Bank. Farmers were educated on reducing chemical fertilizers, promoting biofertilizers, Soil Health Cards& key GoI missions.

ICAR-NIRCA organized Khet Bachao Abhiyan farmers’ awareness programmes on 10 June 2026 at Arikirevula and Jangareddygudem in West Godavari Dt. and Cheervanuppalapadu in Prakasam Dt. Andhra Pradesh, benefiting over 428 farmers
At Jangareddygudem, nearly 100 farmers attended the awareness programme led by ICAR-NIRCA and Tobacco Board officials. Farmers were educated on soil testing, STCR-based fertilizer use, INM, SOC improvement, biofertilizers, green manures and emerging soil-health technologies.

ICAR-NIRCA organized Khet Bachao Abhiyan (KBA) programme at Jangareddygudem, where about 100 farmers were sensitized on soil health, soil testing, and balanced fertilizer use.
