माननीय केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने आज हरियाणा के रेवाड़ी जिले के बावल में आयोजित 'खेत बचाओ अभियान' के समापन समारोह के अवसर पर न्यूमैटिक प्लांटर मशीन का अवलोकन किया।

यह आधुनिक कृषि यंत्र समान दूरी पर बीज की बुवाई सुनिश्चित करता है तथा खाद को बीज के ऊपर नहीं, बल्कि उसके समानांतर डालता है, जिससे बेहतर अंकुरण होता है। इसके उपयोग से लगभग 20 से 25 प्रतिशत तक बीज और उर्वरक की बचत होती है, लागत में कमी आती है तथा लगभग 10 से 15 प्रतिशत तक उत्पादन बढ़ाने में सहायता मिलती है।
