The Church has many traditional prayers that have been passed down throughout the centuries. In 1886 Pope Leo XIII composed the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. As a congregation, we pray it after every Sunday Mass.

LENT TIPS!⁣

Fasting refers to how much food is eaten. The only obligatory fasting days in Lent are Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.Abstinence refers to what is eaten. On Fridays in Lent, that means no meat. Salads, beans, and avocado are other alternatives in addition to fish.
