#thursdaymorning
We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to develop the new Perinatal Pelvic Health Self Assessment Tool for #women during the maternity pathway & beyond.
Exciting new directions for improved management @NHSEngland@TeamCMidO
Its really important to hear the voices of people experiencing bladder or bowel leakage. Sign up for workshops to make your voice heard and identify problems to drive change.
Do you experience bladder or bowel leakage? We would be grateful to hear how this impacts you to identify the problems & drive change. Sign up to workshops in collaboration with @WEAHSN to make sure your voice is heard 🗣 We really need to hear from you to get this right.
Such an important link between #continence & falls. Provides a great opportunity to make a difference to two crucial aspects of patient care. A key focus @NorthBristolNHS with the fab Falls Academy @bxdavies@NicholasSeaton2#continencecounts
It has been a long haul but MASTER has successfully delivered! Conclusions; no evidence of difference between male sling and AUS. Symptoms/ quality of life
improved in both groups, men were generally satisfied. Overall, secondary and post hoc analyses favoured AUS.
#COVID19 has had such an impact on our lives & for those with incontinence even more so - services have been affected, willingness to seek treatment, & covid isolation on top of #continence isolation, with even more public toilet difficulties, can’t be ignored #WCW2020
#WCW2020#Incontinencematters It is so important we take every opportunity to promote #continence & help people access treatment strategies. Too often a huge gap exists between those experiencing symptoms and the self-help strategies that can make a real difference.
Bravo 👏 Vital to recognise incontinence early and be proactive rather than accepting symptoms. Conversations are 🔑 to enabling disclosure and access to treatment.
