ICLUB Global is a network of investment clubs where private investors can co-invest with venture fund @taventuresvc in fast-growing startups in EU and US.

George Soros famously said:

"When I see a bubble forming, I rush to buy, adding fuel to the fire."

This checks out. In everything from meme stonks, to AI to crypto, we've seen how far bubbles can go.

But in venture... This may not work.

Why?

Liquidity (or lack thereof).

For god-tier speculators like Soros playing in public markets, they can get out the moment the narrative flips.

Same with crypto. The savvy speculators were never fooled by what it was; they dropped their holdings when the narrative changed, leaving retail and "true believers" holding the bags.

The problem with most of VC is that you can't drop your bags.

Most venture investments are held for many years, yes, even the late-stage capital.

Except for the rare secondary sell, you're trapped... no matter where in the cycle you are.

So if you, as an investor, rush into companies in the middle of a market frenzy, disregarding fundamentals, disregarding any hope of positive unit economics, and disregarding valuations, then you are REALLY playing with fire.
