Last week, we welcomed turf professionals from across the UK to Turf Science Live 2026 at @EvertonStadium.

The event, in partnership with @SyngentaTurfUK was designed to provide practical insight into the challenges facing modern turf management, with a strong focus on research, technology and real world application.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed. From technical presentations and pitch-side sessions to live demonstrations, the event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss current industry challenges and explore developments in turf health, stress management and performance.

We would also like to thank our guest speakers Craig Knight, Jon Howell from @Everton FC & @GlennKirby from @strigroup_ for sharing their expertise and helping to deliver a valuable day of learning.

Pitch Focus Ireland will take place on 26th September 2026 at MacHale Park, the 2026 GAA National Pitch of the Year.

Pitch Focus includes sessions covering nutrition programmes, grass seed selection, moisture management, aeration, overseeding and topdressing, alongside opportunities to discuss common challenges with industry specialists.

The day will also feature outdoor demonstrations and a showcase of maintenance equipment from Killeen Sports Grounds.

The rain has returned, but is the moisture reaching the rootzone?
