I would add one caveat: If you transferred once or less and you got your bachelor's ... and you never turned pro ... you get a sixth year wherever you want, but you must spend that year. You can get a postgrad degree ... and you'll only be 24, likely. Make college mean something.
This is not a Democrat or Republican issue to me. This is common sense.
I love college sports and what they (are supposed to) represent. A talented young person should find a place where s/he can be remembered for a long time. Present model, or lack thereof, isn't sustainable.
My NIL bill is simple.
You get five consecutive years to play five seasons with one free transfer. If you choose to transfer again, you sit out a year.
