.. is an @icossweden Greenhouse gas balance monitoring station run by @lunduniversity as part of the european @ICOS_RI - Integrated Carbon Observation System
What invisible signs can be found in the air? Tomorrow research engineers Anders Båth and Irene Lehner at @ICOS_Norunda talk about the climate effects of the human use of the forest and earth in online city walk. https://t.co/QQwM5p8kTv @sustforum_LU@SE_Htm@statenskonstrad
Physical mosquito protection and a smile on your face: perfect attitude doing manual soil efflux measurements with a LI-7810 from @LICOR_ENV along five transects @ICOS_Norunda by @DrMShahbaz1 as part of the #CORE project.
First Cloudnet data + quicklooks from @ICOS_Norunda station, Sweden, now available at https://t.co/auBzwa0tjk. Well done @ActrisSweden and all others involved! 👍
Part 2: Iris making her way through #Norunda forest along transects doing manual chamber measurements. Pictures are taken on the former clear-cut - today it's rather a jungle and we actually got lost once. But we had fun anyway. Amazing how fast the trees grow (easily 0.5m/a).
There is so much going on @ICOS_Norunda this summer - and intensive and fun time.
Part 1: students helping to determine above ground biomass and derive allometric functions. Blueberries and humor help to survive this job. Thanks to Larissa, Emily, Pamela and Marieke!
@LeonieEsters @SMHI@icossweden@ICOS_RI@ACTRISRI@ACTRIS_Cloudnet It was a pleasure! And it's exciting to see the benefit when researchers/projects work together - we can learn so much from each other.
Här är Sveriges första molnradar! Med den kan vi få veta mycket om molnens struktur. Det ökar förståelsen av molnens påverkan på väder och klimat och kan leda till ny spännande forskning och samarbeten internationellt.

Enjoying winter landscape and scientific discussions with students from @_SLU on excursion @ICOS_Norunda as part of the "Soil Biology and Biogeochemistry" course.
Some birds @ICOS_Norunda tested successfully a new breeding place: below a protection plate for sapflow measurements. Looks cosy but they already discover the world outside.
@icossweden Bad luck with power outages, but really happy about more than 50 mm of rain yesterday @ICOS_Norunda. It is needed so much and creates some mystic atmosphere the day after
