@JohnE_Fabb@DailySignal@bradleydevlin From experience obtaining all the data from a private source even when contracted by the government is a fairy tale. You get what they want you to get.
@ShadowofEzra The contract relationships with IACP should closely inspected. Good tools when used with oversight but relying on that oversight only coming from executive police leaders who are being rewarded with in-kind payments & retirement jobs for allowing access to taxpayer $ is a fail.
@Patrickwebb If they follow constitutional law and make these companies and their data storage use by law enforcement color of law/agent of the state actions which makes these companies legally liable for mistakes/open to discovery in legal actions not many will want to be in the business.
@timburchett All Congress needs to do is make sure the law designates any private for profit or "non-profit" getting in-kind payments who feeds info & data to the government a color of law agent of the state. Getting sued for mistakes needs to be on the table for them if they want to play.
@ziehrlevi@timburchett Congress needs to define any private entity as a instrument of the police when they partner with LE to funnel data. Data collection/selling it to the gov made a giant void in discovery for the criminally accused. A profit business made from escaping constitutional due process.
@NancyMace It's bad with the VA for MIL. In the United States even worse for sworn law enforcement that take a bullet on the job. Your family better off if you die.
Jimmy Grimes is a United States Marine Corps combat veteran who served this country honorably. He survived war, deployments, and sacrifice… but nothing prepared him for watching his daughter fight stage 4 cancer.
I normally never share GoFundMe campaigns, but this partnership is being done directly with @gofundme, and this family truly needs support right now.
If you can help at all — donate, repost, pray, or help spread the word. Let’s show this Marine and his family they’re not fighting this battle alone. ❤️
@EthanforMD If used right its a good bill. But as you point out a lack of answered questions on accountability and oversight. Plus, this is all old news of things tried with public money, fed intervention and even presidential executive order under Ford. It all failed.
@themaxburns The problem is all the fans of CORCA don't know it was done multiple times before and failed. I'm not a fan of using taxpayer money with no accountability.
