@sleavenworth @rachelscheier How can you do an article about rising crime in SF and not talk about the fact that the police are hot even trying to do their job at this point? They are just sitting there watching these crimes happen and they don’t make any effort to stop them or solve them. This is real.

@whitfield_cw @SlowStreetsSF Page St. should not be a Slow Street. The Panhandle is one block away and is totally open for walking, cycling and playing without cars. There are bike lanes along the Panhandle. Of course it’s nice to not have cars on your street if you live there, but streets are for everyone.

You are making it clear that you do not welcome people from out of town or even the other side of SF. This restricts access to the beach. The California Coastal Commission is against this type of restriction.

@monovalent @JaniceForBART Closing the Great Highway is not good. There is literally a walk promenade and a huge beach yards away that is great for walking and playing. There are miles of what used to be pretty much car-free streets on every block east of the Great Highway that make for great cycling.
