I hope everyone will read Dave Ramsey’s comments about going cashless. It’s a two minute read. No one has explained it better. He brings up several situations I'd never considered.

I took this picture of my receipt in my beautiful town Kerrville Texas. I support this and I can see how this could affect our kids by having gaps in work ethic, financial literacy, and community connection.

HERE'S WHAT NO CASH ACTUALLY MEANS:
A cashless society means no cash. Zero. It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means:

* If you are struggling with your mortgage on a particular month, you can’t do an odd job to get you through.
* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of summer cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child as a good luck charm or from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.
* No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $20 a week away for.
* No more little jobs on the side because your wages barely cover the bills or put food on the table.
* No more charity collections.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return.
* No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones.
What a cashless society does guarantee:
* Banks have full control of every single penny you own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded.
* All your movements & actions are traceable.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which will take about 3 weeks, a thousand questions answered & five thousand passwords.
* You will have no choice but to declare & be taxed on every dollar in your possession.
* The government WILL decide what you can & cannot purchase.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.

Forget about cash being dirty. Stop being so easily led. Cash has been around for a very, very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence.

If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash.

Please open your eyes. Please stop believing everything you are being told. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas.
Pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have the choice.

God: “Why did you stop following Me?”

You: “Lord… Pastor James offended me.”

God: “Interesting. Show Me the verse where I told you to follow Pastor James.”

God: “Why did you stop going to church?”

You: “A Christian refused to help me when I was struggling.”

God: “So… your faith was in that Christian, not in Me?”

God: “Why did you stop praying and fellowshipping with Me?”

You: “People made Christianity look like a joke, so I stopped praying.”

God: “Did I ever stop being God because people behaved badly?”

These excuses are not in the Bible, and they won’t become valid on the Day of Judgment.

God isn’t going to say, “Fair enough, you’re justified because someone disappointed you.”

No.

He will remind each of us that Christianity is a personal race. You weren’t going to church because of the pastor, you were going because of Him. You weren’t serving Him because of Brother Peter, Sister Ihunanya, or your parents, you were serving Him because you loved Him.

People may fail you. Pastors may disappoint you. Churches may make mistakes. Christians are imperfect.

But Jesus has never failed to be who He is.

Don’t allow someone’s bad example to become your excuse for abandoning the One who never betrayed you. At the end of the day, each of us will stand before God individually, and the question will not be, “What did others do?” but, “What did you do with the relationship I offered you?”

The Nature of War

The Bible does not hide the reality of the Christian life. It is not a life of ease and comfort, but a life of war. As soon as a person is born of God, he enters a battlefield. There are three powerful enemies standing against us: the world, the flesh, and Satan.
John tells us clearly in these verses that victory is already available—but it does not come automatically. “Whoever is born of God overcomes the world.” Notice that it does not say that the world will leave us. It does not say that the war will end. Rather, it says that we will overcome it.
What is meant by “the world” here?
1 John 2:15:17

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world.

The world and its lusts are passing away, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Many new believers, as I once did, think that becoming a Christian means instant gratification and no struggle. But the apostle Paul also warned: “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). The battle is real, but so is the victory.

The Weapon of Victory
John tells us the secret: “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”✝️

Faith is not just mental belief, but active trust in Jesus Christ—the Son of God. It is to believe that:🤍

John 16:33

I have told you these things so that you may have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.

John 1:4:4

Little children, you are from God and have overcome him, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.💯

The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us (Ephesians 1:19-20)

Quran 8:12 - “Strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” (those who disbelieve).

Quran 9:5 - “Slay the idolaters wherever you find them… besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.”

Quran 9:29 - Fight Christians and Jews until they pay the Jizya tax “with willing submission” and feel “subdued.”

Quran 4:89 - “Seize them and slay them wherever you find them” if they turn away from Islam.

Quran 2:191-193 - “Kill them wherever you find them… fight them until there is no more disbelief and worship is for Allah alone.”

Quran 47:4 - “When you meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks… bind a bond firmly on them.”

Quran 5:33 - Punish those who oppose Allah by murder, crucifixion, or cutting off hands and feet.
