Department downsizing, lay offs, suspension of bonus pay for picking up shifts with less than 24 hours notice and closing an inpatient floor indefinitely but don’t worry we are doing fine.

Funny story, the hubs went off for a week to hunt with his brother in another state, earlier this year I visited the kiddo in another state for a few days and he thinks there is something sad when couples don’t vacation together.🤷🏻‍♀️

@RNSuperHero If it was an expected death (withdrawal of care) I have been able to pronounce in the past. But these days I usually just tell the doc and they do the official one. Of course I do put a note in the chart with assessment findings and doc notification.
