SCOUTING THREAD: PEDRO BRAVO 🇨🇴

A start in one and an appearance in both of Midjtylland’s Europa League matches this campaign, as well as seven starts in the domestic league, Pedro Bravo has impressed with the Danish club. He allows for much of Midjtylland’s scheme to work.

One day people will realize that outside of Europe, European football does not have the pull that they think it does. 12 of Brazil’s players at the WC play outside the Big 5 leagues.

🚨 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: João Pedro has NOT been picked for Brazil's World Cup squad despite playing up to 60 games in all competitions at the highest level, producing 25 goals + 6 assists.

Meanwhile Neymar was selected while being injured, and now being out for 3 weeks + missing the opening World Cup match.

Clubs like Braga have it figured out. Zalazar was not a secret, and now they’re going to 6x what they paid for him.

Top player. Will do well for himself overseas.

In the “GOAT until the GOAT arrived” ways, LeBron is probably closer to Maradona. LeBron’s chip against prime GSW and Maradona’s World Cup are their respective magna opera— the Scudetto and LeBron’s other chips are comparable too. Still waiting for NBA’s Messi… 👽⏳

[IC @IC_Analysis]

Jordan is a better comp to Ronaldo to me. Obsessive, mythological in ways, and very well rounded in one aspect but not really so as a total player.

I have no NBA comp for Messi. I believe LeBron is the best ever so far, but won’t be forever. Nobody will touch Messi.

[Eduardo Hagn @EduardoHagn]

LeBron James and Cristiano have very similar legacies in their respective sport.

Xylph nailed it here. I’d be really interested in seeing A) where these guys go and B) who Atlanta bring in.

I think there’s little reason to be optimistic for Atlanta fans.

Tata brought in the MOST EXPENSIVE fullback pairing in league history, and they’ve not shown why.

[xylph @aufcXylph]

its all garth. absolutely zero thought into if these players could play together, just bought them.

all fantastic players and id assume all of the players we sell in the summer go onto bigger and better things than atlanta.

they just do not fit.

Brian Rodriguez is so tuff

Analyzing Racing vs River the other day currently.

There is no truer statement than that football games are won at the margins.

Racing controlled the game, especially OOP, but River won 2-0.

Too much variance allowed widened the margins for River, and that’s where they lost.

LAFC beating Cruz Azul is underratedly monumental for MLS. But we want CCC to be a competitive completion with a quarter final the quality of NSH vs America???

How many tier 1 players were on the pitch in that game?

Alex Muyl and Patricio Salas started that game.

@Loko_Broncos @RPLNews_eng Perfect, I appreciate it my friend

[IC @IC_Analysis]

Been watching Atlanta United recently.

Steven Alzate is an immense player. So much quality.

Him, Matias Galarza, Enea Mihaj, Emmanuel Latte Lath, Cooper Sanchez, Aleksey Miranchuk and Pedro Amador are all extremely talented players. Don’t know how they ended up at such a club.

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@Loko_Broncos @RPLNews_eng For sure it was great to chat, I’m curious to see what direction the club heads.

I’ll be sure to send you anything I write on Lokomotiv, I appreciate the help 🙏

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@HalfSpaceMC I’m curious as to what you would define as the distinction between “dominant duelist” and “mobile duelist?”

I ask because I’d think you want at least one center back with elite mobility, especially in a high line.

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@alwaysmoving101 @DrPF21 It’s about profile balance, and not just with DPs but a whole XI.

Other clubs don’t always get it right. Brian Rodriguez, for example, at LAFC was considered a flop and is one of the best wingers in North America now. It’s just most clubs balance profiles better.

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@Loko_Broncos @RPLNews_eng Oh wow yeah it sounds like the spring will be important in deciding the future of the club, big few months I’d imagine.

I’m looking forward to keeping up with the project… when I get the time I found some matches I’d like to watch and analyze.

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@Loko_Broncos @RPLNews_eng A move to Zenit would be big for both parties, no?

Is the new GM seeking a different strategy than before or he just has some gripe with the manager?

[IC @IC_Analysis]

@Loko_Broncos @RPLNews_eng Is there serious pressure on him?

A ONU vai reconhecer o Flamengo como “Nação Cultural”.

Zico, embaixador do clube na campanha, está em Nova York para divulgar a iniciativa.

I find Arsenal fans blaming Gyokorese or Zubimendi both not entirely correct. However, this is a very valid point.

Which brings me to the subject of a lot of my recent interest: Atlanta United.

This sound like Latte Lath vs Chicago? First and second phases are problematic.
