🎉 OUR TOP 10 OF 2024 🎉
2024 was a year of milestones, and advocating harder than ever for the end of domestic abuse. Thank you to everyone who made these moments possible, and we will continue to empower and support survivors in any way we can!
If someone wants to take part in any kind of sexual activity with another person then they must get their consent. Every. Single. Time.
It doesn’t matter if they’ve been married to the other person for 50 years – if the other person doesn’t consent, it’s rape. And it's illegal.
Thank you for all of your recent donations. Our team have taken stock of what we have and we have updated our wish list with the items that we need. https://t.co/Dk4ULYrMJR 𝗪𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝘀.

We look forward to working with them over the next year

Abusers constantly change the rules. One day they want one thing, but when you deliver, it’s suddenly not enough. They move the goalposts so you’re always striving to meet impossible standards, feeling inadequate and off-balance, never able to satisfy them.

Your partner disagreeing with you? Normal. Your partner belittling your emotions, and sulking? Not normal.
If you recognise any of this behaviour and want to talk, reach out to the national domestic abuse helpline

You don’t need a 2024 highlight reel to be proud of yourself 💚
The small wins – like getting out of bed on a tough day, or opening up – matter just as much.
They’re proof of your resilience and worth celebrating. Share a 2024 win below 👇 We’re proud of every little victory.
New UK tagging scheme tracks 16,400 domestic abusers post-release, helping enforce restraining orders. One survivor said her abuser was jailed after his tag showed he was nearby: “I felt so happy, even when the police officer came to tell me.”

The perpetrator is the only one to blame for abuse. If your partner makes you feel like it’s your fault, we’re here to remind you it isn’t.
