📷 We Want to Hear From You!
Indigenous Disability Canada (IDC) / BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society just launched our Accessible Housing - Inclusive First Nations Project.
We are inviting First Nations community members, especially those with lived experience of disability, to complete our survey on accessible housing.
Your insights will help us better understand strengths, gaps, and barriers, and shape meaningful, community-informed solutions.
Take the survey here: https://t.co/lTSZel3EpO
Each month we will be making a draw for a new iPad, eligible to those who fully complete our survey!
We welcome you to share this post to help us reach more community members. Together, we can support more accessible, inclusive communities for today and future generations!

November 2025 is the 11th anniversary of National Indigenous Disability Awareness Month (IDAM)!
On November 4th, during IDAM, the Government of Canada @MarkJCarney@FinanceCanada@FP_Champagne will table its budget.
Its important that the Government recognizes and ensures resources are in the budget that will adequately support Indigenous and non-Indigenous persons with disabilities.
Investing in persons with disabilities, is an investment in Canada.
