Finally, our event is today, and we are all excited, but let me tell you some of the things that happened before this day.
Nobody could see that I and my team planned this event in just 3 weeks; I was just in the office discussing with Habeeblahi Soladoye, and so we were talking about an event we were planning to go to, and that was how I said our last event, which was AI will not wait, was done in May 2026 and that we are in August we ought to do another event, and that was how I took out a biro and book and just picked a date with Habeeblahi Soladoye , and that date happened to be August 29th, 2026.
And on that same day we had our first official graphics for the event, and we posted it. We went further to tell , who has always been our moderator, and he has built excellent products with AI, and he is very excellent at what he does, so we told Abayomi Joshua O. , and then he was still writing exams in school.
We had chosen a date for our event, he said, when I said this month, but I said we fixed it at the end of the month, and he said no problem, that he would have been done with his exams by then. So after one week I reached out to our speakers; some of them I already have personal relationships with, and some of them love what I do and are always ready to connect and support me when I reach out to them.
I first reached out to my friend and brother OBAID ULLAH KHAN, who is the founder of NextGen in Pakistan, because he was at our previous event in May, and he was so excited when I told him I still wanted him at this event.
He honored my invitation, and then I reached out to my amazing friend Maxcene Quirke. I did meet her at the Global Entrepreneurship Festival when she flew in from the UK to Nigeria, and we just became so close.
And she also accepted my invitation. Then I reached out to Mukelabai Mukelabai Jr, an old friend that I have known for a long time in Zambia, and I also booked a consultation with him some months ago, where he told me a lot about the impact of AI, its development, and how to become a policy maker and change maker,
I also reached out to Aisha Kiran she is a digital market and content creation strategist, we have both been on a zoom call previously where she expounded the tremendous work she does even as a wife and mother
Then I reached out to Grant Furlane, the CEO of Mobi Robots. He is a genuine father; with the level he has gotten in his career, he has every right to turn down my invitation, but the most amazing part is that he never did that.
If we can do this in just 3 weeks and not in 6 months, this shows that action speaks the loudest noise. and that whatsoever we birth in our mind, and when you have a mastermind team and you put in the maximum effort, it can be achievable,so today is Saturday, the day of the event.
The time is 8pm Nigeria Time, 8pm UK Time, 12:00am Pakistan Time, and 3pm Canadian Time.

Scientists put a 3D-printed scuba suit on a cockroach. It might save your life one day.
Engineers have long tried building tiny robots for disaster zones ; collapsed buildings, flooded basements, tight spaces humans can't reach.
Making something that small work underwater is nearly impossible.
So a team in Singapore and Japan borrowed a body that already existed: a cockroach.
Already able to walk perfectly and squeeze into gaps no machine can.
The only missing piece- breathing underwater.
Their fix: a 3D-printed shell housing a tiny chemical oxygen generator.
Hydrogen peroxide hits a manganese-dioxide-coated sponge, releasing oxygen fed directly into the cockroach's breathing holes through silicone tubes.
Dropped into water, it kept walking for three straight hours, nearly full speed.
Next disaster, the thing finding survivors might be a bug in a scuba suit.
What else could we build by borrowing nature's designs? Tell me below.

WOW! Someone in China plays a video game without moving a single muscle in their hands.
At the World AI Conference 2026, a gamer played Black Myth Wukong using nothing but a wearable headset.
It reads brain activity and turns it into commands inside the game.
The system was showcased by Shanghai Stonehill Technology.
Here's how it works:
1. Circles flash on the screen at different speeds.
2. When the player focuses on one of them, their brain produces a signal that matches that exact frequency.
3. The headset picks up that signal via EEG and converts it into a move inside the game.
This isn't the very first time this game's been beaten with a brain-computer interface.
A streamer had already done it earlier using a mix of brain signals and voice commands.
But WAIC just put it on a public stage, in front of a crowd, for one of the hardest action games out right now.
Everyone's focused on "wow, mind control," but the real story here is what this means for gamers with limited mobility.
This tech could open up entire genres of games to people who've never been able to play them.
Would you trust your brain to aim better than your hands?

It's Not Just USA Vs China Anymore...
Europe is building its own alternative too.
Governments are actively promoting replacements for Google and Microsoft.
Here's how.
France's Agency DINUM ordered every ministry in April 2026 to plan a full migration off Windows and cut reliance on non-European tech.
2.5 million workstations in scope. Full rollout targeting 2030.
This isn't France's first attempt.
The Gendarmerie Nationale has run 100,000+ computers on Linux for 17 years, saving roughly €2 million a year and cutting ownership costs by 40%.
Schleswig-Holstein in Germany shows what fuller rollout looks like; nearly 80% of its 30,000-workstation migration is done, saving €15 million a year.
This isn't about personal taste. It's about control.
If a foreign company changes prices, changes terms, or hands over data under its own government's laws, an entire state built on that software has no leverage.
There's also the money.
Long-term Microsoft contracts create deep lock-in.
Leaving becomes painful once an entire administration lives inside Windows, Office, and Teams.
The world is splitting into competing tech spheres.
The US wants its stack as the global default.
China's building its own. Europe mostly just rented America's.
So governments are doing what institutions do when dependency gets uncomfortable; they write exit plans.
This doesn't mean ordinary people ditch Google tomorrow.
But when states start treating American software as a risk to reduce, the conversation's already moved past preference.
It's now about who controls the tools that run the state.

While Elon was spending $60 billion buying Cursor, Google just shipped the same core features for free.
It just got a major update.
You can now:
• Inspect actual working tree diffs
• Stage and unstage files
• Commit changes
• Run tests, scripts, and commands
All without leaving the app.
Same update also improved Git responsiveness and cut background CPU usage on large repos and projects with submodules.
Before this, you kept jumping between the AI agent, a separate terminal, and a Git client.
Now the full loop - edit, review, test, commit, stays inside one window.
Cursor, Windsurf, and others already had stronger Git and terminal integration.
Antigravity just closed a noticeable gap.
The AI IDE race is now about who removes the most friction, not who has the fast model.

For years, the US had one big weapon against China in the AI race: chips.
America blocked China from buying the powerful Nvidia chips that AI runs on.
The logic was simple. No advanced chips, no advanced AI. Experts literally called it "the one thing holding China back."
Then, in December, the US did a total U-turn. Trump announced Nvidia could sell its powerful H200 chips to China again.
The door swung open.
But…
China said NO.
Beijing actually told its own companies to STOP buying American chips.
Their customs agents were reportedly told not to let the chips into the country.
State media said Nvidia's chips were "neither environmentally friendly, nor advanced, nor safe."
Why on earth would they do that?
Because China made a bigger bet.
They'd rather struggle for a few years building their OWN chips than stay dependent on America forever.
Short-term pain for long-term control.
And whether the bet pays off or not, the mindset is the real lesson here.
Because this isn't just a China story. It's the exact decision sitting in front of every business owner right now.
1. You can stay comfortable and dependent, letting everyone else own the tools that run your business.
2. Or you can go through a little short-term discomfort to build something you actually control.
The whole world just watched a superpower choose control over comfort.
The question is whether YOU will.
The people who take control now win the next decade.
Comment "CONTROL" and I'll send you the details.

Quick one how much time did you spend last week writing listing descriptions, follow-up emails, and social content?
Most agents I speak with say 12–20 hours. Every single week.
I built something that cuts that down dramatically.
