IDRC2019 is now officially over.
This is our last post.
Although it was only for a short period of time, we thank all the followers and those who kindly supported us.
See you at the next IDRC in France, though it’s tentative, in 4 years!!👋🏻
A number of Self-Defense Force members, mainly from Camp Asaka and Camp Narashino, were gathered and involved in the management of IDRC.
Thank you for all the support‼︎
The 301st Image and Photograph Company, JGSDF was in charge of filming videos & photos throughout the tournament.

Thank you for the wonderful videos & photos!!
These are the photos of those who supported IDRC2019 in the background.
The Central Band, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
They performed the national anthem at the final match and the 3rd place playoff.
The last remaining team has left Japan safely.
All the players who did their best had a radiant look on their face!!
The photos are taken when the players of UK team and Fiji team were leaving Japan.
It was a fierce battle in the strong wind and darkness.
In the end, it was the Fiji team that won the match against both the UK team and the strong wind!
However, both teams had great fight!!✨
As the goal post of the Kashiwa-noha venue had collapsed, the venue for the final match was changed to Narashino.
The game started 1 hour and 15 minutes behind schedule, while both players and staff at the site were extremely confused.
At Kashiwa-noha venue, the French National Military Rugby Team and New Zealand Defence Force had the 3rd place playoff.
In the middle of the game, there was an accident where the goal post was broken by the strong wind!
The second game at Narashino venue was SDF team vs Australian Defence Force Rugby Union.
The wind became stronger and stronger, while no one knew where the game was going.
But in the end, Australian team won the game!
