▫ In the previous CPI event, we witnessed a reading that exceeded expectations. As I mentioned earlier, I had indicated that in such a scenario, there was a likelihood of the markets revisiting lows observed on October 3. True to my prediction, much like in September, the market indeed followed the anticipated trajectory. We dipped to Oct lows and even went lower before the market bounced. 📉

▫ Why do I say this? It's because undertaking this kind of statistical research can significantly enhance your abilities as an investor. Contrary to the belief that timing the market is impossible, I don't subscribe to that belief. In this specific instance, had you done your homework, you could have acquired shares at a 6% discount compared to pre-CPI levels. Don't we all want to buy low and sell high?😉✅

▫ Today we look into the same scenario. Should we get a print above estimates, well you know that it's probably best to wait for a retracement before adding more shares to your portfolio and vice versa, if we get a CPI below expectations, its time to celebrate the next leg up in markets and just go with the flow! There is no right or wrong in financial markets, only probabilities! Follow your research and you set yourself in the best position for success! 💰
