7- You don't have to choose a topic related to your #major as long as you can relate to that topic in some way.

8- You cannot avoid reading research papers, because it is necessary to do so when you want to #author your own paper. So, practice at it and learn to do it.

5- It is worth writing about a topic that has been covered before if you bring your own perspective

6- Connect and maintain good relationships with your teachers and faculty staff because they are the ones who can help you write and publish your research.
