Africa’s economic crisis is not caused by a lack of resources, but by illicit financial flows, debt dependency and unequal global rules.
At AfCoDD VI in Nairobi, I called for Africa to reclaim its economic sovereignty. The continent loses about US$90 billion annually through illicit financial flows while spending roughly US$89 billion servicing debt. Between 1970 and 2018, more than US$2 trillion left Africa through capital flight.
This is not a financing gap. It is a haemorrhage.
We must stop illicit financial flows, reclaim resource sovereignty, reform the global debt system and strengthen social protection.
The time for action is now. The bleeding must stop.

[the white settlers
displaced the maa from their agriculturally-productive land]
The community that submitted themselves to be farm boys , now became the owners of the maa land after the white settlers left post independence.
Laikipia is a name of a maa subclan ,ilaikipiak.
Nanyuki is a word , meaning a beautiful girl -Nanyokie [supposedly white settlers women]
maybe to simp is good, we would still be owning the treasures of Nanyuki land 😁😅.
