A one-day exposure visit (within the district) was organized in Kamrup district of Assam state, India, to empower the stakeholders about #IFDC's #NutrientManagement interventions under #APART project.
IFDC's APART project conducted #NutrientManagement demo in #mustard highlighting the addition of #sulphur (S), in collaboration with #KrishiVigyanKendra in Assam. The #fertilizer briquettes used under #FDP technique include NPK+ S. Sulphur is an essential element for seed yield.

During a one-day event, "Ceremonial Distribution of #Agricultural Machineries & Inputs Program & Launching of Assam Millet Mission", IFDC, under the APART project, put on demos of the FDP Briquette Making Machine & the FDP Briquette-Multi-Crop Planter for #farmers in Assam state.
In Bangladesh, the most climate-vulnerable nation, #farmers intensively cultivate #rice on 80% of all land holdings. However, widespread nitrogen #fertilizer overuse results in major losses. As a solution, #IFDC introduced urea deep placement.

The #AFIProject addresses #gender disparities in #Telangana, by proactively recruiting unemployed #women as rural resource persons known as #AFIChampions, and train them. As a result, these women serve in leadership roles in their areas.
