In the outskirts of #Damascus, @SYRedCrescent volunteers are helping communities recover and rebuild after years of conflict.

From creating safe spaces for women and children to supporting livelihoods and community activities, their work is helping people move forward with dignity.

في أواخر شهر يوليو/تموز، تعاون @ifrc وجمعية @Mrcs_morocco ومؤسسة فيوليا في الرباط لتعزيز القدرات المحلية على توفير مياه الشرب الآمنة للمجتمعات عند الحاجة إليها.

ففي حالات الطوارئ، لا يكفي توفر المعدات المناسبة، بل لا بد من وجود فرق مدرّبة وجاهزة لاستخدامها.

بالنسبة إلى 200 شخص في تعز، اليمن، لم تَعْنِ جراحة المياه البيضاء استعادة البصر فحسب، بل أيضاً استعادة الاستقلالية والعودة إلى الحياة اليومية والتطلع إلى المستقبل بأمل متجدد.

بدعم من @ifrc، أُجريت 200 عملية جراحية لإزالة المياه البيضاء وزراعة العدسات في مديرية التعزية، استفاد منها أشخاص من المجتمعات الأكثر ضعفاً.

ويأتي هذا الدعم ضمن الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الوصول إلى خدمات الرعاية الصحية الأساسية في اليمن، إلى جانب جمعية @YEMRedCrescent وشركائنا.

For 200 people in Taiz, Yemen, cataract surgery has meant more than restoring their sight. It has meant regaining independence, returning to daily life and looking ahead with renewed hope.

With support from @ifrc, a cataract surgery and lens implantation camp in Al-Ta'iziyah District provided 200 operations to people from vulnerable communities.

This support is part of continued efforts to strengthen access to essential healthcare in Yemen, alongside the @YEMRedCrescent and our partners.

Reaching patients quickly starts with reaching them efficiently.

To improve emergency response in high-density areas during Hajj, the @mediasrcaen deployed motorcycles, electric scooters, and bicycles that allow responders to navigate crowds and reach patients before ambulances arrive.

These rapid response solutions help ensure timely medical care when every second counts.

الوصول السريع إلى المرضى يبدأ بالوصول إليهم بكفاءة.

لتعزيز الاستجابة للطوارئ في المناطق عالية الكثافة خلال موسم الحج، وظفت هيئة @mediasrca الدراجات النارية، والسكوترات الكهربائية، والدراجات الهوائية، لتمكين فرق الاستجابة من التنقل بين الحشود والوصول إلى المرضى قبل وصول المركبات الإسعافية.

وتسهم هذه الوسائل في ضمان تقديم الرعاية الطبية في الوقت المناسب، عندما تكون كل ثانية ذات أهمية.

Concerned by the recent increase in violence and movement constraints facing Palestine Red Crescent Society @PalestineRCS staff and volunteers across the West Bank.

The attack on a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance near Bethlehem, while its crew was responding to reports of injured people, illustrates the risks they face.

Movement restrictions, attacks and delays to ambulances are hindering first responders from reaching patients when time is critical.

Protecting humanitarian and healthcare workers is essential for the communities they serve. Rapid, safe and unhindered access must be ensured at all times for all humanitarian personnel.

After losing his balance during the Hajj season, a pilgrim was assisted within moments by @mediasrcaen emergency responders, who provided him with prompt and efficient medical care.

His story reflects the human impact of rapid emergency response in supporting pilgrims throughout their journey.

Syria may no longer be in the headlines, but the humanitarian needs remain.

After years of conflict, the @SYRedCrescent continues to stand with communities across the country, providing essential services with limited resources.

Continued support is needed to help people rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.

For Abeer Suleiman Al-Juhani, serving pilgrims during Hajj had always been a dream. During this year's pilgrimage, she spent up to 12 hours each day organizing and supporting @mediasrcaen volunteer teams, helping ensure they were ready to respond whenever they were needed.

Despite the long days, what stayed with her most wasn't the exhaustion, it was the purpose. As she reflected on the experience, she said: "The work required a great deal of energy, but what many people don't know is that we returned home feeling re-energized. I don't even know where that energy came from. It came from helping someone. It came from being part of something bigger than myself."

كان حلم عبير سليمان الجهني، إحدى العاملات في إدارة التطوع بهيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي (@mediasrca)، أن تخدم ضيوف الرحمن. وخلال موسم الحج لهذا العام، أمضت ما يصل إلى 12 ساعة يوميًا في تنظيم فرق المتطوعين وتجهيزهم، لضمان جاهزيتهم لتقديم الدعم للمحتاجين في كل لحظة.

ورغم ساعات العمل الطويلة، قالت إن ما منحها الطاقة لم يكن الراحة، بل أثر مساعدة الآخرين. واستذكرت تجربتها قائلة: "كان العمل يتطلب قدرًا كبيرًا من الطاقة، لكن ما لا يعرفه كثيرون هو أننا كنا نعود إلى منازلنا ونحن أكثر نشاطًا. لا أعرف من أين كانت تأتي هذه الطاقة، لكنها كانت تأتي من مساعدة الآخرين، ومن الشعور بأنني جزء من شيء أكبر من نفسي."
