WE ARE BACK BABY!!!!!
Sorry for the wait everyone. Can't wait to start everything up again! Player and Manager forms have been reopened while we get the FPL back up to speed. Thank you to all who have been patient with us.
(Just a friendly reminder that we are not dead, but due unforeseen complications, this twitter and therefore the leagues will be inactive for at least a couple more months. At worst, it will last until the new year. We hope to get this back up and running ASAP.)

Congratulations to Colombia for their win. As the world cup fever dies down, domestic leagues fire right back up. With this, we're proud to announce the FPL (Furry Premier League) teams that will participate in the 2018-19 season.
(Thanks to @PaulaBraydi for designing these.)
We've heard reports of earthquakes recently in Colombia due to the fans celebrating the national team's win. While nothing major, it definitely shows how football can unite a nation. Congratulations Colombia.
FINAL DAY
Columbia 3-1 France
Thanks to everyone who participated.
They've done it! Underdogs Colombia defy the odds to defeat France and obtain their first world cup title! A very open match, it was in extra time when a stunner from the right of the box launched them into the lead. What a way to finish the World Cup.

Ladies and gentlefurs, it is time. We are down to two teams. One has won a World Cup before. The other, their first World Cup final ever. Who's going to let their nerves settle when it matters the most?

3rd Place Match Results
Argentina 0-2 England
A rather simple finish for both of these teams. You could tell that both were dejected to not be playing in the final but it was a good game all around. England take it after a nice brace from their talisman.

Before the biggest event of football since 2014 begins tomorrow, we have two teams battling for a third place finish. One was beat by a single goal. The other, by four. Who will bounce back from their defeat?

DAY 23 RESULTS
England 0-4 France
What a absolute decimation of England here. France never let their foot (or paw) of the gas. They will be the favourites coming into the final while England attempt to boost their confidence in the third place game against Argentina.
DAY 23 FIXTURES
12:00 PM EDT England vs France
The old rivalry once again rears its head in the form of football today. Who's going to get the leg over the other for the next four years? And more importantly, who's going to go to that all elusive World Cup final?
