Scientists from BRIC-NII (India) and the University of Nottingham (UK) have identified Ark1, a key protein that helps the malaria parasite grow. Targeting this protein could pave the way for next-generation anti-malarial therapies and strengthen the global fight against drug-resistant malaria.
