A major milestone from my PhD work. It's incredibly rewarding to see research transition from the lab to commercialization and move one step closer to real-world healthcare impact. Grateful to my mentors, collaborators, and everyone who made this possible.
CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology is pleased to announce the signing of a Technology License Agreement (TLA) with Meta Omics Labs Private Limited for the commercialization of two innovative technologies developed under the leadership of Dr. Shantanu Sengupta and his research team.
The licensed technologies include:
🔹 A High Throughput Lipidomics Method Using Scheduled Multiple Reaction Monitoring (sMRM) - an advanced mass spectrometry-based platform for high-throughput quantitative lipid profiling, enabling comprehensive analysis of lipid biomarkers associated with human health and disease.
🔹 A Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM)-Based Method for Quantification of Proteins Important in Cardiometabolic Diseases - a targeted proteomics platform designed for precise and reproducible quantification of clinically relevant protein biomarkers, supporting research and translational applications in cardiometabolic disorders.
The Technology License Agreement was signed at CSIR-IGIB, New Delhi, marking another milestone in the Institute's commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening academia-industry partnerships, and advancing technologies from the laboratory to real-world healthcare applications.
We congratulate Dr. Shantanu Sengupta, his research team, and Meta Omics Labs Private Limited on this significant achievement and look forward to the successful commercialization of these technologies.
