They made it crystal clear that it wasn’t going to be a scene for scene remake so instead of hating on every change they make just go watch the original again and again and again. It still exists.

She had to make decisions on the fly depending on the condition of her voice during any given performance.

Now i’ll say, the acting could’ve been more believable but other than that it’s a solid remake that hits all the necessary plot points.

@zerry8179 @_oludara And how did that “change the trajectory of the industry”? Ex: Beyonce dropped self titled on a friday & started a trend of surprise dropping albums. Billboard changed its the start of tracking from Tuesday to Friday prompting artists to start dropping on fridays to this day.
