Nonsense thought: what if inflation is entirely driven by its own anticipation? I.e., the only way inflation would temper is if the market bought into the idea that the Fed would forcibly deal with it - no better signal than to hike swiftly and significantly.
Why didn't any hyperscaler make a bid to buy or some other equity based JV with Micron $MU a year ago (or Hynix)? Surely they were aware of future supply chain needs. Would've been cheaper and you'd have your competition in a death grip.
@BushwoodCap I just don’t see how the market doesn’t eventually move to the exchange model over the centralized bookmaker model. Even if it’s not as intuitive now, there are probably ways to make it more casual friendly. Seems much better for the gambler
@evrgn11112231 They're close enough but not mutually exclusive all the time. You can have stocks that aren't very correlated with index returns on daily or monthly basis but still get lumped in with momo based on TTM returns. Good example were drug distributors until recently
