This week is Women’s Equality Week. By first recognizing the disproportionate economic and social barriers women and gender diverse folks face, we wish to stand together in celebrating and uplifting members of this community. We see you, we appreciate you, we are proud of you.

Call for BC Survey Respondents! 🗣
➡️ The Youth Research Academy is surveying BC youth aged 18 to 20 who are either currently in government care (or an alternative to government care such as on a Youth Agreement) or have aged out within the past year.
Today we held 2 kick-off meetings to onboard over 40 new child advisors into the #CovidUnder19 initiative. The session was youth-led by our brilliant peer mentors with support of adult allies. All very excited to continue expanding this intergenerational #childrights community!

Today we honour the many survivors of Canada’s residential school system. We recognize the enduring intergenerational harm caused by centuries of colonial oppression and exploitation, and we vow to remember and to act. 🧡
