On #WorldTBDay, IIH joined the global call to #EndTB. Across 3 districts in Bihar, teams led awareness drives, school sessions & screening camp, & launched NPOC swab testing in Samastipur. With support from Milk Cooperatives as Ni-kshay Mitra, we strengthen community led TB care
This #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the women who form nearly half of our team and the heart of our work.
Most of them are local women and ASHA workers who carry the strength, care, and resilience of their communities into their work every day.

As we prepare for the implementation of the TB REACH Wave 11 Plus grant & roll out of novel swab tests, we held a 2-day planning workshop (27–28 Feb 2026). Hands-on sessions with @huwellife UniAMP device for sputum & tongue swab testing.
On 9 Feb 2026, we hosted Mr Pulak Chandan Prasad, Founder of Nalanda Charitable Foundation, for a meaningful engagement with IIH. He met persons with TB to understand their health and launched IIH’s Compendium featuring 41 powerful stories of IIH team.
On 8 Feb 2026, we organized a special visit for team's children to Udaan — Children’s Literature Festival organised by PRAYOG at Bihar Museum, Patna. 📚
The experience sparked curiosity, love for books, and joyful learning.

IIH had the opportunity to host Shri Rajnikant Chaudhary, Personal Secretary (आप्त सचिव) to the Cabinet Minister, Govt. of Bihar, Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary. During the visit, he learned about IIH’s deep-rooted community work and expressed willingness to support PwTB on treatment
On 6 Dec 2025, we trained our field team on using Cough AI by @SSwaasa and Digital Stethoscope by AI Diagnostics for community-based TB screening. Supported by the @StopTB Wave 11 grant, these tools will be piloted in our routine case-finding and enhance early TB dection.
IIH team attended @hcltech Grant 10-Year Anniversary celebration in Delhi, showcasing our grassroots impact & field stories. Proud to have 2 ASHAs from Khanpur & Bithan and Rajnish Kumar, Secretary of Village Level Milk Co Operative (Pusa) represent our community efforts in TB.
The IIH team joined 27 grantees from 15 countries at the @StopTB REACH Wave 11 Midterm Meeting to share learnings and strengthen lung health interventions. Thrilled that our Wave 11 Plus proposal on swab-based TB screening in communities has been awarded!

On 15 Sept 2025 at RB College, Dalsinghsarai, we shared about the #AzimPremjiFoundation Fellowship for female students — opening doors for young women to pursue higher education. Opportunities like these shape brighter futures for girls & communities.
During screenings for hypertension, diabetes & TB in Dalsinghsarai, the community turned care into action — bringing coolers, spreading tarpaulin, serving tea, and urging each other to get tested. A true picture of solidarity and togetherness.

From 1st to 5th September 2025, we participated in Partner's Workshop by #AzimPremjiFoundation in Bodhgaya with 49 partner organizations.
Sessions covered leadership, governance, HR, compliance & finance, a valuable space to learn, share & strengthen community work.
Kanchan lost her child in a tragic accident, a pain no mother should ever endure. The trauma led to mental health challenges, followed by TB disease.
With care, & support, Kanchan healed — a true symbol of strength and resilience.
