people call sukuna nonchalant, and that is honestly where i disagree. he is only detached toward things he finds insignificant. the moment something genuinely interests him, amuses him, or matters to him in any capacity, he becomes incredibly expressive in his own way. - he was βnonchalantβ about curses and power to the point he became the king of curses. he was βnonchalantβ enough for his entire expression and tone of voice to noticeably brighten when he saw uraume again. he is βnonchalantβ enough to laugh almost childishly while destroying things, and passionate enough to openly indulge in intellectual curiosity like the complete battle nerd he actually is.
sukuna is aloof, selective, and emotionally restrained toward much of the world, yes. but nonchalant .α£ not really. beneath all the composure, he is actually a deeply intense person whenever something manages to truly engage him : D
