I will say conversations about Africa and colonialism make me so angry. Especially when black fellows are explaining why the "whites" did what they did. So inhumane.
Been listening and following some conversations on education and feminism by different African professors . The state Africa is in, is exactly by design. The leadership design and everything that follows. To understand all this you may need to understand colonialism and religion.
We always say we need entrepreneurs which I think we do. My problem is the person who is saying we need entrepreneurs is a 9 to 5 person with more than 10 years experience better stability too. The person he is telling is a fresh graduate with no stability. The irony.
@NthandaManduwi So true, but I would like to think we can become the agents of change ourselves. A bit hard but doable nonetheless. I love the quote and I do agree that we are still slaves
@NthandaManduwi Yes, all that is true but I would be keen on having a conversation on how we can move forward. Begging is not exactly the best thing for us, we need to find our independence.
@NthandaManduwi I feel like there's just too much "begging" in Africa but if we changed that and managed what we have, we can learn to survive then eventually thrive.
One thing about me is I have big dreams and I'm slowly finding people that feed my delulu . I'm just grateful they don't make me feel like my dreams are impossible to have. They always see I'm doing my best and you just encourage me and correct me in a way I feel seen. Grateful.
The week has finished with ease. Still have undone hair. A bit of confusion which tech sector I'm gonna be in. 3 courses to finish. 2 networking and 1 UI/UX design. A job I'm grateful for and four different types of medicine I'm taking for my infection.
Work has been so hectic, I haven't had time for myself. Hair looks a mess thinking of locking it. And we'll I don't know if something called personal life still exists. But oh well ๐. Can't even post my course progress ๐ฅฒ
