Here is the taxpayer funded “Firm” doing their Easter parade, a pack of frumpy parasites led by William and Kate, all smiles and side eyes from the crowd.
We pay for over 1,200 royal household staff, multiple castles, mansions and palaces kept in perfect nick, private jets, and the whole medieval circus.
Sovereign Grant is now £132.1 million this year, up a cheeky 53% (£45m more) thanks to offshore wind farm windfalls we never see.
@RepublicStaff puts the real bill at over £510 million once you add hidden security, duchy “lost” revenue and council costs.
All so a gang of unelected toffs can swan about in taxpayer subsidised ermine while the rest of Britain scrapes by.
Boos from the public say it all. These aren’t public servants, they are scroungers in crowns.
Enough. Bin the monarchy, bin the Sovereign Grant, and spend the money on schools, hospitals and people who actually earn their keep.

If palaces bring in tourism, why does the Palace of Versailles (no King) outdraw Buckingham Palace (with King) every year?
You say the Grant covers maintenance? In 2026, we are paying £369M for a 10-year refurbishment of his private residence while schools crumble.
Calling a £137M grant “small” while they use bona vacantia to seize dead citizens' money and pay hush money to Epstein victims isn't official duties it's a protection racket. #AbolishTheMonarchy #RoyalFinances
EVENT SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT: Why the Monarchy Must Go - Robin Wells!
Join activists and campaigners for an evening exploring how inherited power upholds inequality and entrenches injustice. @fossilfreeLDN's Robin Wells will be with us on 31 March at Rich Mix in Shoreditch.
It’s not just about the money; it’s about the power.
Why is the King exempt from over 160 laws, including race and sex discrimination laws?
Why does he get to vet draft laws before Parliament even sees them if they affect his private wealth?
If they are just like us, why can't we FOI them like every other public body?
Transparency isn't a “nice-to-have”
it's the only way to prove they aren't using their position to protect their own bank balance while the rest of us pay 40% inheritance tax.
If UK news shows are going to give Nigel Farage a platform to spout this absolute boll**** about Brexit & the vaccine rollout (unchallenged) I’ll happily come back every week to correct it.
We cannot allow him & others to rewrite history.
If you agree RT this FACT CHECK widely
Even Stalin didn't think of this one
In the UK we're forced to pay hundreds of pounds to fund the BBC or face prison. Even North Korea doesn't force you to pay to the liar who is lying to you

If Labour brings in a wealth tax, I’m moving to Poland
and before anyone screams “pay your fair share” let’s look at reality:
Inheritance Tax – 40% above £325K
Earn £100K–£125K? Effective tax rate is 60%
Capital Gains – 28% on property, 20% on investments
Stamp Duty – up to 12% (15% for companies)
On top of all this, the UK already taxes you through: National Insurance, Corporation Tax, Council Tax, VAT, Excise Duty, Fuel Duty, Air Passenger Duty, Insurance Premium Tax, Green Taxes, Gambling Taxes, Plastic Bag Charges, Carbon Emissions Levy, Landfill Tax, TV Licence Fee, Congestion Charges, Sugar Tax… and now VAT on private school fees
Add another wealth tax and people with capital, businesses and jobs will simply leave
Why would they stay?
When the productive leave, the bill doesn’t disappear, it lands on you.
