Respect is the foundation of high-performing teams
During my service year in Akwa Ibom State, I had the privilege of serving as President of SDG for corps members.
One principle I emphasized constantly was simple but often overlooked: respect for one another.
It doesn’t matter if you’re Batch A or Batch B.
It doesn’t matter your background, school, or state.
What matters is that we are all colleagues working toward the same goal. Everyone deserves the same opportunity, the same voice, and the same respect.
When we serve each other’s interests and eliminate bias, we stop working as individuals and start operating as one team. And that’s when real impact happens.
