There’s so much Argentina did to ensure they felt like they *had* to sit back, and Tuchel’s all but confirmed it wasn’t a direct instruction from him.

The narratives are concerning. If Argentina don’t play well, they’re not good enough. And if they do, it’s because the opponents aren’t good enough.

Seldom have I seen people actually give them their due credit throughout this competition. Baffling, given they’re quite literally one of the most sucessful national teams we’ve ever seen.

Nigeria 🇳🇬 is now enjoying positive real interest rates, meaning investors who put their savings into FGN Savings Bonds are no longer losing the purchasing power of their Naira to inflation. The people who continue to lose purchasing power are those who choose not to save or invest at all.

I believe Nigeria will continue to enjoy positive real returns on savings over the next few years. If that changes and real rates turn negative, I would become more concerned about the Naira.

The victim shared the company’s official email response in DMs:

They claim it was a hacker who accessed her sister’s email, changed her account details, and withdrew the money.

But here’s what doesn’t add up:

• Her account was still verified in the app when she took screenshots of the unauthorized debits.

• They are refusing to take responsibility and told her to report to the police/authorities to recover her money.

• Their official email states: “we found no evidence that Meristem’s systems, applications, or internal infrastructure were compromised, nor was there any indication of unauthorized access.”

Yet since she reported it:

• She cannot log in at all.

• When she enters her email, it says the account “does not exist.”

So the hacker also hacked/deactivated her account on their platform?

If a simple email hack can drain money and wipe the account from their system, why hasn’t this happened to everyone else?

This raises very serious questions.
