I've just realised I *can* pithily summarise my advice for universities shifting to online/hybrid/flexible learning in the light of Covid-19, based on decades as an online learning researcher. I can even do it in a sentence:

Regardless of the mode of study, teaching is one thing. The "delivery of content" [sic] is another. They are not synonyms. Our job is to enable and support learning, i.e. teach well. #ActiveBlendedLearning#ABL#HigherEd#HigherEducation
I keep meeting colleagues from across the sector who are busy “recording & uploading [rather long] lectures”. Content matters, but what’s really important is what learners *do* with it and why. Bombarding them with recorded lectures is not the way to go. #highereducation
"Deliver learning". "Deliver learning outcomes". Two examples (among many) that illustrate some individuals' lack of understanding of pedagogy. You can do many things with, for and about learning. "Delivering" it is not one of them. #HE#FE#ABL#futureedtech#highered#LTHEchat
