@Bitstamp Over a week since I was told the tech team where finally working on my case and I would be contacted that evening or next day ‘At the latest’. Still nothing. Worried something has been lost or gone wrong now. Can you please help. ID- 578841
@Bitstamp One month has gone by and I still don’t have my crypto refund. Still no eta or info. I went to your office address today in London to speak to someone but there is no office. Can you please give me an ETA and some help I’d-578841
@Bitstamp WHERE IS MY REFUND? £40,000!!! 3 weeks gone, last reply from you 6 days ago! You’re stretched but putting this on your customers like this is a total disgrace. ID-578841
@Bitstamp ‘Your £40,000 refund? Maybe we’ll get it to you tomorrow (unlikely) or maybe in a week or 6 months or a couple of years. We’re really busy so we’ll have to see. But don’t worry one day....’. surreal.
@Bitstamp Depressing. Been involved with crypto for 6 years. Never had a problem, but then I never had a problem if you know what I mean. Maybe I put too much trust in it with the most important areas of my life. But that’s the whole point of it,at least that’s what I thought?
@cburgdorf @AlexTar03137389 @Bitstamp @YazilimciCocuk For sure. They are hit by huge demand, that’s fair enough, but not being able to effectively deal with it puts a crazy strain on some of its customers. Mortgage money is not the same as pocket money.
@AlexTar03137389 @cburgdorf @Bitstamp @YazilimciCocuk That sounds fair enough. I’m sure it’s not deliberate, they’d much rather not get all this negative attention but if you’re going to step into a business that involves such large sums of people’s money, then I guess your service/support needs to mirror that.
@eldelosdemas1 @Bitstamp I imagine it’s possible. Thing is the law is so far behind crypto that I’m not sure how it would go and I have no experience of it...? I am in the process of writing an opinion piece though for a uk paper. Hopefully that will get something moving! Still, worth looking into...
@Bitstamp P.s the loss of a mortgage deposit with no news of when it will appear again is not funny but sometimes humour is the only way to make something interesting!
@Bitstamp In process of writing a humorous opinion piece/article for uk media on my bizarre experience with Bitstamp. Feel free to send your stories. Positive as well. Not into corporate character assignation. Confident of take up as crypto is ‘on trend’. [email protected]
@Bitstamp Never had anything like this before in my life. Trapped by a legally certified company who treats its customers and large sums of their money with such casual disregard. Forced into perusing other means of dealing with this now. Sad.
@Bitstamp These past 10 days have been like a BAD DREAM. £40,000 refund not deemed important enough to get a resolution on let alone an ETA. Stunned how much time and money I’ve lost dealing with this. Depressing. But still, I’m getting creative! ID - 578841. Ticket #314350
@Bitstamp I feel like a mouse being played with by a cat. Being told that £40,000 of my own money is not important enough to even give me an ETA because you’re busy is genuinely shocking. Where do we go from here? ID- 578841
@Bitstamp If I were on the board of your company and I saw this situation unfolding I would make it my no.1 priority to hire the staff needed to deal with this mess and make peace with all my distressed customers instead of giving them the cold shoulder as if they were a pest
