Amendment 1 on Virginia's ballot:
✔️Loosens requirements for late-term abortions through birth.
✔️Does NOT mandate that life-sustaining care be given to babies born alive.
✔️Requires only ONE "doctor" (NOT an OB/GYN) to agree to a third-trimester abortion. Even Gov. Northam said, "It's always good to get a second opinion ... These decisions shouldn't be taken lightly."
✔️Applies to all "individuals" — not only adults — so it removes parental consent or even KNOWLEDGE for minor daughters.
