@shawnmullin @SeanRossSapp @hamdicapped101 On the heels of Mania, it would seem that’s the angle they are moving towards. Gable can play a cocky, arrogant heel pretty well. These two have been putting on 30-40 min house show matches with The Revival, so something’s brewing.

However, I think if he went back to being a heel, like in NXT, with sensical booking, he may make an impression on you. To me as a singles wrestler that’s where he truly flourishes.

Understandable about Roode, perhaps it’s who/how the match is being put together to reflect the story they want to tell. Flair had a slow working style & that didn’t seem to impact his legacy as an in-ring performer. But it’s Ric Flair

Written as an advantageous/opportunistic, championed, suit wearing heel & hits main as a face, who fake smiles, wears a robe for everything, has an entrance & a catch word “Glorious” No substance, even with his main titles

@shawnmullin @SeanRossSapp @hamdicapped101 AOP has had Visa & injury issues from what’s been reported. The lack of build up of talent/characters coming up to main is where I have an issue. The average fan watching main wouldn’t probably know who they were in NXT. Continuity and attention to detail is what lacks most IMO.

Sanity is a recent example of failing to capitalize on something that had mystique & a cool look, with some amazing talent, but hardly made an impression once they got to main

They technically tried by having AJ with Gallows & Anderson, but just like the NWO version in WWE, “The Club” was a lame & pathetic way of trying to introduce another Jap spinoff faction. Had they included OGBC Finn Balor, who knows what could have happened from there.
