I always put education before sports and work hard to maintain strong grades. My dedication to academics has helped me earn several educational awards and recognitions. Balancing school and sports has taught me responsibility and time management. I am gonna keep working hard.

How do you slow the game down … (my at bats)? Easy my top three ways to slow the game down are my breathing patterns, my self talk, and my visualization all help me slow the game down. BE PRESENT WHERE YOU ARE, DONT let your mind be everywhere. Let the hands be loose like a jelly fish then when making contact with the ball let it be hard and fierce like a shark. Jellyyyyy SHARK. Talk to yourself, your self talk tackle box is your weapon do NOT let it be a weakness. I like to think of my visualization as movies and scenes. Movie while I’m watching and looking out, scenes while I’m thinking about what I’m going to do. Relaxation should feel good no tension in the body why? TENSION IS POISON. Synch up your breathing it helps you stay relaxed and all put together. Be athletic be free, flow with freedom. “ I learned at Michigan by watching the best players” - Tom Brady. Watch the big leagues, learn from them! Hitting with Arron Hank mirror talk. Mirror talk/work is so important and can show you how you need to adjust. Go find a mirror! Why rush the game? You’ve waited all day for the game now you want to go rush it, NO! Relax stay calm and enjoy the game. Interviews, easy be calm, use your hands, look at the camera/the people, be confident. Your tone and tempo is just as important as what you say. You’re gonna go train? Train at game speed, once you go hard use the reset button to calm down then get right back to work. Time for the weekend games, be ready, 2 for me 1 for my team. What’s better than clear? Crystal clear. Clear? Crystal. 10lb weight bat pumps, listen to the weight, bat pump.
How you oil your swing? Tee work. While bunting you want to get it in the perfect spot, catch a fish. All pitchers are hittable none are not hittable. Self talk isn’t just in the head you need to talk out loud and WHISPER! Have barrel awareness/ barrel control it keeps your proposition in good shape! Joey Votto talks hitting and how the big leaguers can place it anywhere they want. Looking and stance, feet first, knees next, arms, hands. Great lesson with @FeelGoodHitting once again!

This spring, our ‘29 girls were competing in their freshman HS seasons, so a few of our ‘30 girls had the opportunity to continue developing and competing with @IMGCoyle.

This is our last run with the @FCNatlPiconke girls. No matter the outcome today we’ll always be grateful for the friendships the girls made this spring. All 3 are amazing ball players but great people as well. Let’s go and play hard for each other today and hard for Izzy who should’ve been with us all spring.

What’s the number 1 thing you can give your swing? Trust it! That’s what you need to do when things aren’t going well, Open up your breathing first, Find if you have any tension first?, 1 point - iron bar - get to your iron bar, Prime your 1 point with your iron bar, 1 point, Power finish, We finish things - I’m a finisher, Leg lock - toe up- replace shoulder, gfr, loose, slow is smooth smooth is fast, slow=front of box, fast=back of box,adjust, proprioception, mirror work, 6th sense, TRUST, timing, R.S.M., R.S.O., eyes down, Glove oil, quick with the bat, toe up!!!
