#WATCH | Chandigarh | Superintendent, CCPCR Snehalaya, Lalit Arora says, "Vansh came to us in 2021 after the death of his parents... He was very depressed due to the family tragedy. Around the same time, another child came to us who had cerebral palsy. Vansh was inspired by the fact that this child was still alive... and then the desire to do social work awakened in him... He started giving physiotherapy to that child and also organised several camps in collaboration with NGOs that visit here... He also provided remedial classes to children who needed them... The Prime Minister also praised him during the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' program... We sent all his work to the Ministry for nomination, which recognised his efforts and awarded him... He is excellent in both academics and sports. Last year, he was diagnosed with arthritis, and the movement in his legs and hands became limited, but he still didn't let it hinder his social work or studies..."
Celebrating one year of @IShiprabansal as Chairperson, CCPCR! To mark this occasion, we planted trees at CCI with staff and teams from CWC, DCPU, and the Commission. As part of #GreenInitiative to plant 300 trees, we’re fostering a greener environment and advancing child welfare.
