The IMPACT Project engaged stakeholders from all 17 LGAs in Plateau State, including Chairmen, Deputies, Secretaries, Supervisory Councilors for Health, and Traditional Rulers, to outline our objectives & encourage ownership of Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) initiatives.

Together, these aim to improve healthcare delivery across Plateau State.

Governor Mutfwang welcomes World Bank Country Director Dr. Ndiame Diop to Plateau State. The partnership aims to foster rural development and support transformative projects that will uplift citizens’ lives. Plateau remains a beacon of growth and opportunity.

Governor Mutfwang has awarded contracts for renovating and upgrading 82 Primary Healthcare Centres across Plateau State. Funded under the IMPACT Project, the initiative will improve healthcare access, with at least 4 PHCs upgraded in each of the 17 LGAs.

Upgrades to the PHCs include perimeter fencing, staff quarters, motorized boreholes, and solar panels to ensure uninterrupted power. Governor Mutfwang reaffirms his commitment to lifting citizens out of poverty through improved healthcare infrastructure.
