Peppered meat with crunchy onions hits so hard but people that don't like Onions may not like this 😂.
You don't separate the onions from the meat, you eat them together 😋.
We, as an institution, believe in the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and strongly support the drives to ensuring inflation falls to 17% by December 2025.
We can formally declare at this juncture that almost all companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that suffered losses in the first quarter of 2024 are back to profit-making, as shown in their respective Q1 2025 balance sheets.
The IMPI has questioned the rationale of the International Monetary Fund for downgrading its economic growth projection for Nigeria in 2025 from 3.2 per cent to 3.0 per cent on the back of the global oil slump.

POLICY STATEMENT 022 ISSUED BY THE INDEPENDENT MEDIA AND POLICY INITIATIVE (IMPI)
EVALUATING POLITICAL RISKS IN TINUBU'S ECONOMIC REFORMS
Implications of Economic Reforms
Economic reforms, encompassing macroeconomic and microeconomic changes, aim to enhance economic
President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms have received our backing at The Independent Media and Policy Initiative (IMPI). We believe these reforms are crucial to preventing an economic crisis similar to Venezuela's. Despite criticism, the positive results of Tinubu's policies, including:
- Rising Tax Revenue: Increases in VAT and Company Income Tax
- Increased Foreign Exchange Inflows: Improved supply of foreign exchange, benefiting businesses and consumers
- Manufacturing Adaptation: Companies adjusting to high-interest rates
- Improved Financial Performance: Enhanced economic growth in various sectors
It is our belief that these reforms will lead to a more market-driven economy, reducing Nigeria's reliance on oil exports and promoting sustainable economic growth.
The World Bank has also recognized Nigeria's efforts, approving a $2.25 billion financing package to support economic stabilization and growth initiatives.
This package aims to deliver key public goods like reliable power, clean energy, girls' education, and women's economic empowerment.
In May 2024, the Federal Government of Nigeria allocated over 260 billion Naira to revitalize primary healthcare centers across the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This significant investment aims to strengthen the healthcare system, particularly at the grassroots level.
Beneficiary Agencies:
- National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA)
- National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)
- Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
-
- National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance Service (NEMSAS)
These agencies will receive the first disbursement of 12.9 billion Naira to enhance their operations and service delivery. The funds will support various initiatives, including:
- Infrastructure Development: Upgrading and equipping primary healthcare centers
- Workforce Capacity Building: Training and recruitment of healthcare personnel
- Health Insurance Expansion: Increasing coverage for vulnerable populations
- Disease Prevention and Control: Enhancing surveillance and response to outbreaks
This revitalization effort is part of the Federal Government's broader strategy to improve healthcare outcomes and achieve universal health coverage in Nigeria.
