@JaneyGodley My aunt used to tell me, when walking in downtown Glasgow, look up one floor. Rain or snow the architecture is amazing but it's the pavers on the wobbly sidewalks that'll get you. LOL.

@JaneyGodley You'll get there. Just be patient. Cancer treatments never let you off Scot free but you still get to thrive. Have they mentioned lymphedema at all? My girlfriend has to deal with that. (stage 4 breast cancer survivor 2008)

@JaneyGodley Growing up, we always planted ourselves on the beach in Troon. We'd park by the Old Troon GC cottage (dead end). Loaded with everything, we'd walk across the course to the beach. Downside - no windbreakers so picked a spot in the dunes. Fond memories. LOL.

@JaneyGodley My mother loved that stuff. It was years later we found out it doesn't mix well with certain meds, like hers. Can give whopping hangovers when mixed with vodka, in flight. Immigration officers look at you funny... LOL

@JaneyGodley I think of cancer the same way as heart disease or strokes or autism or warts. Every one has something they've got to overcome. No need to feel guilty. Your family would be just as worried regardless of the label. They love you and support you. That's what's important.
