Group 2 of this ECL Lite season has turned out to be quite a strong one.

6/8 teams moved on from round one, and now there are still four teams left in top 8.

It's a bit unfortunate how often the current seeding system matches teams from the same group in the 1st playoff round.

Any chance for a small rule change (no opponents from the same group until round 2) in the future, @SportsGamerGG and @KenuFHR? #ECL23Winter

* NeonHum's final night 4-game emergency goalie performance was awesome: four wins led the team, 90,57 SV% was 3rd best in the league, and so was GAA 1,25.

#ECL23Winter is over for @IMeHockey after finishing 10th in our Lite group, 4 points behind the last playoff spot.

We had a promising start and a good end to the regular season, but a 11-game losing streak mid-season was just way too much to overcome.

On to the next challenge!

* Johtaja was T-3rd in penalties drawn (15). Also led the team in goals scored and points (23+20).
* Miklu finished 3rd in blocked shots (40) and led the league in interceptions (199). Unfortunately shows how much we had to defend instead of controlling the puck. #ECL23Winter

Unfortunately this seals it for us, season over.

It was a tough one for us from start to finish. After a good debut season in Lite, we seemed to lose some of our work ethic.

A lot to learn for the future, and there will some changes in the roster too.
