President Droupadi Murmu attended the celebrations of Raja Parb at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. On the occasion, she witnessed various dance performances which include Odissi, Santali, Jhumar, Sambalpuri and Raja Ballet.
The Raja Parb is an important festival of Odisha which is celebrated to welcome the agricultural year.
President Droupadi Murmu reviewed the passing out parade of the 158th Regular Course and the 141st Technical Graduate Course at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The President said that as Army officers, the officer cadets will be responsible for leading, guiding and caring for the soldiers.
The President said that the presence of nine women cadets at the passing out parade is a watershed moment in the history of IMA. It is not only a milestone in the history of India’s defence forces but also an inspiring example of India’s march towards women-led development.
The President said that the presence of foreign cadets at IMA reflects India's commitment to fostering friendship, cooperation and peaceful relations with countries across the world.
President Droupadi Murmu received President To Lam of Viet Nam at Rashtrapati Bhavan and hosted a banquet in his honour. The President said the elevation of India-Viet Nam ties to an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will not only provide momentum to our bilateral cooperation, but also contribute to peace and prosperity in the region.
"The sports-talent of our youth, including that of the tribal communities, forms an invaluable social capital for our nation. I am confident that, by harnessing this priceless resource effectively, our country will establish numerous glorious benchmarks of excellence in the field of sports. President Droupadi Murmu released the Constitution of India in the Santhali language at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President said that it is a matter of pride and joy for all the Santhali people that the Constitution of India is now available in the Santhali language, written in the Ol Chiki script. She expressed confidence that it will enable them to read and understand the Constitution in their own language.
Indian women boxers who brought laurels to the nation at the 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Ms Jaismine and Ms Minakshi won the gold medals, Ms Nupur brought home the silver medal, whereas Ms Pooja Rani was the bronze winner. The President congratulated them for their exceptional performances. Office-bearers of the Boxing Federation of India were also present on the occasion.

During her 'Day at Sea' onboard India's indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, President Droupadi Murmu witnessed several naval operations including MiG 29K take-off and landing, missile firing drills from a warship, and also submarine operations. The President also interacted with the crew of INS Vikrant which included first batch of women Agniveers posted onboard.
The President appreciated the Indian Navy for creating more opportunities for women to make greater contribution in national maritime security.
