Akun Resmi Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di
Manama, Kerajaan Bahrain/Official Account of the Embassy of the
Republic Indonesia in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Djibouti, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the State of Palestine, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of Yemen, the Lebanese Republic, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, People's Republic of Bangladesh and the State of Kuwait condemn in the strongest terms the illegal and unacceptable step taken by the so-called “Somaliland” region in opening a purported “embassy” in occupied Jerusalem. This constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and relevant international resolutions, and represents a direct infringement on the legal and historical status of occupied Jerusalem.
The Ministers reaffirm their categorical rejection of any unilateral measures aimed at entrenching an illegal reality in occupied Jerusalem or conferring legitimacy on any entities or arrangements that contravene international law and relevant United Nations resolutions. They reiterate that East Jerusalem has been occupied Palestinian territory since 1967, and that any measures intended to alter its legal and historical status are null and void and without legal effect.
The Ministers further emphasize their full support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and their unequivocal rejection of any unilateral measures that undermine the unity of Somali territory or infringe upon its sovereignty.

Indonesia strongly condemns and protests the placement of the “Rising Lion” banner by Israeli forces over the ruins of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza.
The use of military symbols and propaganda over the ruins of a destroyed hospital, especially when linked to a specific military operation, is a highly provocative act and cannot be justified.
The Indonesian Hospital is a civilian facility dedicated solely to providing medical services for the people of Gaza, not a place for military propaganda or intimidation. This act is an insult to a humanitarian facility built from the solidarity of the Indonesian people for the Palestinian people.
Indonesia reiterates that hospitals and all medical facilities must be respected and protected under international humanitarian law. Indonesia calls on Israel to stop all actions that violate the protection of civilian infrastructure and to ensure accountability for attacks against medical facilities in Gaza.
I strongly condemn Monday’s incident that led to the killing of two Indonesian @UNIFIL_ peacekeepers in South Lebanon. A third peacekeeper was severely injured & a fourth was also hurt.
My deepest condolences to the peacekeepers’ families, friends & colleagues & to Indonesia, and wishing a full & fast recovery to the injured peacekeepers.
This is the second fatal incident in 24 hours — following the killing of a peacekeeper in a separate incident on Sunday.
Attacks on peacekeepers are grave violations of international humanitarian law.
They must stop.
No one should ever have to die serving the cause of peace.
In observance of Easter Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manama will be closed on Sunday, 5 April 2026 and will resume operations on Monday, 6 April 2026. For urgent matters, please contact the hotline: +973 38791650.

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia condemns in the strongest terms the second consecutive incident near Bani Haiyyan, southern Lebanon, on 30 March 2026 affecting Indonesian peacekeepers serving under UNIFIL, resulting in the loss of two more lives and injuries to two others.
The recurrence of such heinous attacks against Indonesian peacekeepers within a short span of time is utterly unacceptable. This cannot be treated as an isolated occurrence, but reflects a rapidly deteriorating security environment in southern Lebanon, where ongoing Israeli military operations have placed United Nations peacekeepers at grave risk.
Indonesia continues to strongly condemn Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, which have significantly increased the risks faced by UN peacekeepers and undermined the implementation of UNIFIL’s mandate under Security Council Resolution 1701 (2006).
Indonesia mourns the loss of its fallen peacekeepers and stands in solidarity with their families, while wishing a swift recovery to those injured.
The safety and security of UN peacekeepers is non-negotiable. Any harm against them constitutes a serious violation of international law and must not go unanswered.
Indonesia calls for an immediate, thorough, and transparent investigation to establish the facts, including the circumstances and those responsible, and stresses that full accountability must follow.
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia expresses its deepest condolences following the death of one Indonesian peacekeeper and the injury of three others serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), after indirect artillery fire in the vicinity of the Indonesian UNIFIL contingent’s position near Adchit Al Qusayr on 29 March 2026, amid reported hostilities between the Israeli military and armed groups in southern Lebanon.
Indonesia strongly condemns the incident and calls for a thorough and transparent investigation.
We are profoundly saddened by this loss. We pay our highest respect to the fallen peacekeeper for his dedication and service to international peace and security. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family, and we wish a full and swift recovery to the injured personnel. Indonesia is working with UNIFIL to ensure the prompt repatriation of the fallen and the best possible medical treatment for the injured.
The safety and security of UN peacekeepers must be fully respected at all times, in accordance with international law. Any harm to peacekeepers is unacceptable and undermines collective efforts to maintain peace and stability.
Indonesia reiterates its condemnation of Israel's attacks in southern Lebanon and calls on all parties to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, cease attacks against civilian populations and infrastructure, and return to dialogue and diplomacy to prevent further escalation and advance peace.
Indonesia remains in close coordination with the United Nations and relevant authorities and will continue to closely monitor developments.
