28 Feb observed as National Science Day to commemorate discovery of Raman Effect by Nobel Laureate Sir C.V. Raman
GoI started celebrating this day in 1986, to acknowledge scientific achievements & promote awareness about the role of science in daily life.

Admission to JNVs can transform life of (mostly rural) children
These fully residential schools provide quality education to deserving students

On 18 Jan 2025, 108 students from 4 districts of Rajasthan took the Navodaya entrance test
They received 250+ hours of training, regular topic-based class tests & Revision tests on OMR sheets on the exam pattern
PTMs were conducted to keep students engaged &the family motivated
