Highlights included keynote insights by Prof. Axel Pries (World Health Summit) & pitching sessions with leaders from AIIMS, FU Berlin, TUM & industry.
Delivering the lecture, Prof. Marcus Nüsser highlighted the complex challenges emerging from glacier melt — from increased risks of glacier lake outburst floods (GLOFs) to long-term concerns around water availability and food security.
At the Heidelberg Lecture in New Delhi, a vital conversation unfolded on the rapidly changing Himalayan cryosphere and its implications for our shared future. The event organised by IGSTC in collaboration with Heidelberg University and the German Embassy New Delhi.
