I just did a 'search engine for events', since event discoverability is a legitimate problem. Right now it's 4 days of work, so don't expect much, but would be grateful for feedback of early testers.

Hello World!
ArcadiaEngine is Real-World Game Engine, which means it's used to craft games that are played outside homes, with others physically present, building friendships and memories.
@ZuriVTOL@Vrgineers@SomniumSpace We're kinda sad that we borrowed you headsets for free not only for the event, but for more than a month so you can prepare the experience and don't even get a mention :/
First part of https://t.co/aCbw0uiy8c coming alive after a break - an events division. We offer technologies and equipment to make organizing events easier and more fun. Check out https://t.co/YGsWdwk57b for our offer. The site is in Czech only, as we're serving local market.
Jeden Advík za rok je málo, budiž zimní edice. Tentokráte na téma Cyberpunk, nabízející možnost zajímavého crossoveru do technologického světa nejenom fantazie :)

Nice to see Ate doing her debut on the screens of X. We enjoyed the creation of her 3D representation and we hope she will spend more time with us (for improvements visits) in the future :)
Good Luck with your podcast!

New SteamVR hardware survey dropped, while percetange of Steam users dropped a bit in the survey, it's actually not that bad if you exclude Chinese users (where most headsets aren't sold) and still all-time high.
How does the Travel mode for flying om Vision Pro work, and does it really? Over the past 2 weeks, I tested AVP on 7 flights, in various times of day, various cabins.
VR headsets use internal IMUs as primary source of tracking, and optical tracking (or outside in) for drift correction. The reason for that is IMU fast (1000 Hz) and precise (but drifting over time), while optical tracking is slow (30 or 60Hz usually), not as precise, but stable. So combination of those two you can get fast, precise and stable tracking. As long as we're not moving or moving at constant speed.
That's not the case for airplanes. Even in calm air, the aircraft is constantly experiencing what is known as phugoid motion. Modern airliners have build in software feature to smooth the motion, but not completely. And of course, the air is not motionless itself, also affecting the aircraft. This motion is of course registered by the IMUs.
Here it depends on the sensor fusion and prioritization, if it can filter out aircraft movements as noise or will lose tracking. With the Quest 3, you can use it in very calm air, but even slightest phugoid motion will knock it off. What the Travel Mode on AVP does it prioritizes the camera tracking over IMUs to filter these out.
How well does it work? It depends on how well the cameras can see. On a flight during the day with brightly lit cabin quite good. On a night flight, where cabin lights are dimmed, i experienced tracking losses quite often (1-2 per min), taking it ~4 sec to recover. On a window seat, sometimes the cameras pick outside envinronment, such as clouds, resulting in tracking loss. And if you look out of the window, it's a tracking loss in 99% cases. On other seats the tracking is more reliable. No tracking difference between economy and business class cabin, however the tracking worked best on @flyjsx "semi-private jet".
For me, the tracking losses were quite frequent and disturbing and If I can comfortably fit a notebook in front of me, I'll always prefer that. In economy cabins, that's not always the case, in which the Vision Pro is a decent alternative. It's also good in case you need a bit of privacy.
Anyway, the travel mode is just software feature that changes the way signal from cameras and IMU are combined and can be easily added to other headsets. Now that Apple has broken the paradigm that VR headset is something you use strictly at home and other uses are not supported, i expect other makers will add travel mode to their headsets as well.
For fellow Vision Pro owners, how well does the eye tracking works for you.
Is it 100% reliable, or you need to reset it every once a while? Have you ever encountered looking somewhere else (ie button above what you want to click) to get desired action?
@pimaxofficial Crystal is an awesome headset, however as someone who has owned and used it for months, I cannot recommend it to anyone. It might win awards or get awesome, but these people are not using it.

In addition to MR app, we also built a VR app for @ZuriVTOL (not sure if that's getting released), where you can explore the plane in PC-powered high fidelity VR as well :)
Meet Zuri, an upcomming eVTOL plane from our friends at @ZuriVTOL. A very simply app for Meta Quest Pro and 3 that will let you place the virtual aircraft on the ground and explore.
