INGAF(NER) in collaboration with Finance Department, Government of Mizoram successfully conducted a PFMS workshop on SNA SPARSH and SASCI 2026-27 at PPIC Hall, Aizawl from 1st to 3rd June, 2026. The workshop was inaugurated by Sh. Lalduhoma, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mizoram (@Lal_Duhoma). On this occasion, Sh. Rokhum Lalremruata, Director, INGAF(NER), Sh. H Atheli, Jt. CGA, PFMS and Sh. Vanlaldina Fanai, Finance Commissioner, Govt. of Mizoram were also present and addressed the participants.
The workshop was attended by 160 officers from various Government of Mizoram departments. It focused on the technical and operational utilities of SNA SPARSH, a new fund flow architecture designed to streamline processes and mitigate systemic shortfalls inherent in the traditional SNA framework.

Sh. Avtar Singh Sandhu, Director General, INGAF, inaugurated the first ITEC Training Programme of FY 2026–27 on “Government Accounting & Financial Management (GA&FM)” by lighting the ceremonial lamp on 1 June 2026.
The two-week programme brings together 28 participants from 16 countries, reaffirming the spirit of international cooperation, capacity building, and knowledge sharing under the ITEC Programme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The programme offers valuable insights into contemporary government accounting and public financial management practices, fostering professional excellence and strengthening global partnerships.

ICAS Officer Trainees (OTs) of the 2024 batch called-on to the Controller General of Accounts of India and other senior ICAS officers - Addl.CGAs, Jt.CGAs and Dy.CGAs at the O/o CGA and engaged in an insightful interaction with them. The session provided valuable guidance on public financial management, professional responsibilities, and the evolving role of ICAS in governance.

The interaction also served as a motivating platform for young officers, before proceeding on their On-the-Job training from May 2026, to align their aspirations with the vision and priorities of the organisation.

INGAF today concluded fifth and final ITEC programme of 2025-26, titled “Audit & Internal Control for Financial Discipline” (9th-20th March 2026).

Valedictory session was graced by Sh. Viraj Singh, Addl. Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, as a Chief Guest.

The programme witnessed participation from five countries—Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Fiji—fostering international collaboration and exchange of best practices. Over the past two weeks, it provided a comprehensive platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and strengthening audit and internal control systems.

Participants highly appreciated the programme for its practical insights, engaging sessions, and its relevance in promoting financial discipline and accountability.

The Controller General of Accounts of India (CGA), Ms. T.C.A.Kalyani, hosted a delegation from the Republic of Fiji led by Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr. Esrom Immanuel on 10th Feb, 2026 at New Delhi.

Discussions covered public finance practices of both the nations, including the digital transformation made by India in its PFMS processes.

The visiting Finance Minister appreciated the advances made by India in the field of Public Finance and discussed ways to further deepen cooperation in this field, including asset management, budget ecosystem and internal audit.
